It am eager to share my love of learning with scholars and encourage them to become self motivated lifelong learners. At e3, I serve as a case manager for students with Individual Education Plans. I work along side of the general education instructor to provide students with instructional materials to improve student achievement. I keep parents informed of students’ grades and progress toward graduation. I work with individual students and small groups of students to improve their reading, writing, and math skills.
To prepare for this position, I earned a bachelor’s degree in education from Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago, Illinois as well as a master’s degree in adult education from the University of Missouri at Kansas City. At Liberty University, I earned a Doctorate in Education in Curriculum and Instruction. I have many years of experience as a special education instructor and as a learning resource instructor at The Preuss Charter School UCSD. I have tutored and worked with students on the autism spectrum and students with specific learning disabilities for over 25 years.
