Ms. Wu was born in a teacher’s family and grew up in China. Becoming a good teacher has always been her dream. Professionally, she received a bachelor's degree in English education and master’s degree in linguistics. She has been a bilingual (English/Chinese) teacher for over 20 years in various capacities, achieving the rank of Associate Professor of English in 2010. She has been the recipient of many Language Teaching Awards in China over several years. On top of that, Ms Wu has co-authored over 10 research papers in linguistics, and was a principal investigator on several grants focusing on effective language learning models. When not at work, Ms. Wu is an avid cook, baker as well as a gardener. At e3, she hopes to instill a love of language in her young scholars and she is excited to witness e3 scholars to become caring, passionate life-long learners and civic leaders who are well-prepared for college, workforce and life.
