Parents are an integral part of the e3 Community of Learners.  It is the goal to have parent representation on every level at the site. The Local Control Accountability Plan includes activities that will increase and enhance the level of participation for all parents. Please visit the LCAP link to read the entire plan for all activities.  Here are a few highlights below:  

-Provide a 10 Month Parent Institute to train parents on supporting a successful high school experience and the successful transition to college and career led by the Counseling and Guidance Staff;

-Use the Auto Communication system to update parents on all school events and activities;

-Maintain real-time website updates that post all school related information, activities and events;

-Require parents to participate in Student Led Conferences (SLC’s) and Presentations of Learning (POL’s) and attend School wide, Student Exhibitions;

-Host Monthly Parent Coffee with Executive Director or designee;

-Use the smart phone translation system to provide Spanish language translation for all school events,, conferences, meetings, etc; -Host family events to build a strong school culture;

-Publish Weekly e-Newsletter and additional E-Blasts to parents;

-Invite parents to volunteer within every aspect of the school (Committees, SSC/SAC, Parent-Teacher-Student Organization, Booster Club,English Language Success Team (aka ELAC), tutor, chaperone, guest speaker, class observations, exhibition panel members, POL panel members, Intern or Job Shadow provider, etc.).
