As part of our Design Thinking courses our scholars participate in a variety of opportunities to create innovative solutions to problems they have identified in their community. Our scholars are supported by our team and enter in challenges and competitions across the country. I am excited to share with our e3 community that the Lemelson- MIT program has announced the 2023-2024 InvenTeams, eight teams selected nationally. Our e3 scholars invention will be showcased at a technical review within their home community in February 2024, and then again as a final prototype at EurekaFest — an invention celebration taking place June 10-12, 2024, at MIT. Congratulations to Joanna Castro-Liggins, Shania Mancol, Desiree Chavez-Lopez, Shessley Gonzalez and Mikaela Briseis Buensuceso. A special thanks to Ms. Woods who has been selected and as the 2023-2024 InvenTeam Teacher. Her support for our scholars is appreciated!
