Every week is e3 Saturday Academy

This year, e3 funded the Saturday Academy with Title 1 monies in order to provide additional learning opportunities. Saturday Academy is held every week from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon (with the exception of holiday breaks). It is staffed by our certificated Learning Facilitators and Instructional Tutors in Math and Humanities. We strongly recommend ALL scholars take advantage of this opportunity to advance or accelerate their academic progress on Saturdays, especially if they have earned a D or F in their core classes.

Progress reports were mailed home last Thursday, October 18th. Please review the grades with your scholar. If they received a D or F in a core course, please make sure they attend Saturday Academy in order gain competence and proficiency.

In addition, Mr. Smith leads our e3 Parenting Collaborative on Saturdays from 10:00am to 11:00 am. As a Saturday treat, The Parent Living Room is open for Coffee and Tea.

The e3 Civic High Genius Bar...

The e3 Genius Bar is a place where scholars can take their computers to be fixed, cleaned, or borrow a loaner for the day.

A new, onsite Internship will now be offered where scholars are trained, and can eventually become Apple Certified after working for extended semesters in the e3 Genius Bar. Not only is this a great opportunity, it allows scholars to become workforce ready, prior to leaving high school!

The Future of Education

There's a place where every high school scholar jumps out of bed each morning excited about learning. They are interested in their lessons because they engage in real-world application in real time. In this world, young people learn to think critically, analyze objectively, and solve problems.

Dr. Yong Zhao shared how the future of education must adjust to engage and prepare generations now and generations to come. e3 offered 25 complimentary tickets to parents of e3 scholars.
